WALLS OF PISA

Built during the period of the Maritime Republic, the Walls of Pisa are one of the best-preserved examples of 12th-century medieval city walls in Europe. A continuous path of over 3 km connects Piazza dei Miracoli to the lungarni, winding through great monuments, suggestive views, hidden corners of Pisa, and lush greenery. The walkway, at a height of 11 meters, offers a unique perspective of the city and is highly favored by those who prefer slow and 'discovery' tourism.

There are 5 entry and exit points, allowing you to organize a short or long visit according to your needs; 4 of these entrances are accessible to people with disabilities. A free app (Mura di Pisa) is available for both Android and iOS, enabling an interactive visit. The monument is open year-round with varying hours depending on the season.

All updated opening hours can be found on the website www.muradipisa.it. The full price ticket is 5 euros, with discounts and free entry available (children up to 8 years old, people with disabilities).
